We spoke to CEO of the Ian Potter Foundation, Craig Connelly, to find out why building and managing relationships with philanthropists is key to an organisation’s search for funding. A successful financier and businessman who has now dedicated his work to the community sector, Craig has a detailed understanding of what foundations look for in the organisations they fund. Craig is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, as well as an external member on the Advisory Committee for the Sustainable Farms Initiative, ANU and is the Founding Trustee of the Parks Australia Trust.
