We spoke to the CEO of the Municipal Association of Victoria, Rob Spence, about how local governments are working with community groups to build capacity in the not for profit sector. With decades of experience in the local government sector, Rob has detailed knowledge of the way local governments and their communities can work hand in hand. Rob is a former CEO of Brimbank City Council and the City of Footscray. He has held a number of senior positions within state government departments including as the Director of Municipal Operations and the Director of the Office of Investment.
